Position Overview:
In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the secure design, development, and deployment of web applications and services, while also tackling Big Data security and privacy concerns. Your expertise in application architectures, DevSecOps practices, cryptography, and information privacy will play a crucial role in establishing a holistic security framework for our organization.
Responsibilities:
Health Information Exchange Platform Security:
Work closely with architects to design, implement, and manage robust security protocols for the HIE platform to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security seamlessly into the development lifecycle and application architecture.
Implement continuous monitoring and auditing to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Conduct security and privacy impact assessments as well as remediation.
Stay updated on emerging threats.
Data Services Security:
Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies for Big Data and AI services, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy.
Utilize cryptographic techniques to secure data in transit and at rest, safeguarding sensitive information.
Evaluate AI model security, ensuring that machine learning algorithms are resistant to adversarial attacks and biased outcomes.
Advise on privacy-preserving technologies, such as differential privacy, to maintain data privacy compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, application architectures, and secure software development.
Proficiency in cryptography, its applications, and data protection methods.
Familiarity with Big Data technologies, AI/ML security, and associated challenges.
DevSecOps expertise, integrating security throughout development and deployment.
